What qualifications do I need to be a Foot Health Practitioner?
There are a lot of foot health/care courses out there and the course level really depends on what you want going forward. Most foot health courses accept applicants with no former qualifications to enroll, the only requirement being to read and write in English.

1. SMAE Institute (Training4Feet)
Based in Maidenhead, UK.
SMAE is the only University approved Foot Health Practitioner course in the UK. Accredited by the QMU. After successful completion with this course you can use it to apply to do a Podiatry Degree with them.

Based in Southport, UK
This course was founded by the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrist.
The College of Foot Health offers insurance and membership.
3. College of Foot Health Practitioners
Based in Rowley Regis, UK
Accredited by the NCFC
The College of Foot Health Practitioners offer insurance and membership.
4. Next Generation Training
Based in Huddersfield, UK
This qualification is provided by the PRFHC and is also accredited by the Complimentary Medical Association (CMA)
